‘All-rounder’ Aamer Jamal saves Pakistan with fighting 50 in AUS vs PAK 3rd Test

Jamal had also scored 33* in the first innings of the last Test.

Has Pakistan found their pace-bowling all-rounder? It seems so. Coming in to bat at 220-7, Aamer Jamal showed an incredible fight as he notched up his maiden fifty in the AUS vs PAK 3rd Test.

With his team in dire straights, the pace bowler walked in and joined Salman Ali Agha in the middle. However, he was soon left alone, with Salman and Hasan Ali falling in the space of 16 balls.

With just one wicket left, he was supported by Mir Hamza, who faced 23 balls and ensured his partner reached his maiden half-century. Aamer Jamal reached his fifty in just 71 balls and took Pakistan past the 270-run mark to ensure they had a fighting score.
