Team India to take two-day break before IND vs SA 2nd Test:
Following their humbling defeat in the IND vs SA 1st Test at Centurion on Thursday, Team India has opted to take a two-day New Year’s break. Rather than returning to the pitch for the second Test, the Men in Blue decided to rest to heal from the defeat.
It was a difficult setback for Rohit Sharma and co, as their hopes of winning their maiden Test series in Rainbow Nation were dashed on Day 3 when the Indian hitters surrendered for 145 in the second innings. Apart from the shaky batting, India’s bowling was the biggest letdown, as they failed to exploit the difficult Centurion surface and allowed 408.
