If one has to pick the best all-format team, it has to be India, undoubtedly. The Men in Blue have consistently been the best team in T20Is, ODIs, and Tests, but everything changes for them with just one loss. The same has happened in the India vs South Africa first Test at Centurion, where the visitors lost by an innings and 32 runs.
Following their big loss against the Proteas, former England skipper Michael Vaughan has slammed them, left-right-centre. Talking on Fox Sports after the massive loss, Vaughan said that India has failed to win anything significant, despite having the best of the players. He also went on to talk about, how India has failed to win an ICC trophy in the last 10 years.
“Here’s a question for you – India, in terms of cricket, are they one of the most under-achieving sports team in the world? With all the talent that they have… I think they are, yeah. Well, they don’t win anything. When was the last time they won something? With all the talent they have, all the skillsets… they won here (Australia) twice, magnificent but the last few World Cups, been nowhere, T20 World Cups, nowhere,” Michael Vaughan told Fox Sports.
