Ahead of IPL 2024, former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir revealed that he was very excited to be reunited with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) once again. Gambhir will return to KKR after being with LSG in the previous editions of the tournament. The southpaw called KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan ‘family’ and addressed the side as an emotion for him.

Gautam Gambhir won two IPL trophies with KKR in 2012 and 2014 and is well respected and loved in Kolkata. His re-integration into the KKR set-up could be a major coup for a team which will also be relieved with the return of Shreyas Iyer as captain. Last year, Iyer could not play the IPL because of an injury and Nitish Rana stood in for him.
