Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal had a forgettable outing on his birthday in IND vs SA 1st Test at Centurion on Thursday, Jaiswal, who turned 22 today, failed to capitalise on the second chance which he received early in the innings after Aiden Markram dropped his catch.
Jaiswal fell for 5 when pacer Nandre Burger delivered a quick bouncer, causing the ball to graze the edge of Jaiswal’s gloves before traveling behind to the wicketkeeper.

Earlier, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma fell pray to Kagiso Rabada again and departed on a duck. Earlier, Jasprit Bumrah picked a four-wicket haul as India bowled out South Africa for 408, conceding a 163-run lead.
Dean Elgar was the star for the hosts with a 185-run knock while Marco Jansen also played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 84.
