MCG jinx on Marsh family continues! Mitchell Marsh joins brother Shaun and father Geoff after failing to score century

Marsh family’s Melbourne Cricket Ground Jinx continues. Not just the two brothers, Shaun and Mitchell, even their father Geoff Marsh failed to get a Test century at the iconic MCG. Mitchell Marsh is the latest victim of the Marsh family jinx after falling on 96 in the ongoing PAK vs AUS Boxing Day Test.

Mitchell Marsh is the newest addition in the Marsh family to be unable to break the jinx. Their father Geoff Marsh managed to score 86 at the MCG. Elder brother Shaun Marsh came the closest but fell on 99.

The nervous 90s and the MCG hundred jinx continued to play its ploy in the PAK vs AUS Test match. Mitchell Marsh who was been in sublime touch failed to convert his innings to the three digit score. He was unfortunately dismissed on 96 by Mir Hamza after Agha Salma took a blinder of a catch.

Coming to the Pakistan vs Australia Boxing Day Test, the hosts look comfortable. Australia has taken a 241 run lead at stumps on Day 3. Mitchell Marsh’s 96 and Steve Smith’s fifty has been the saving grace after the Aussies had a batting collapse.

Shaheen Afridi and Mir Hamza has scalped 3 wickets each in the second innings. The duo will be aiming to scalp the remaining 4 wickets as soon as possible on Day 4. It will be a daunting job for Pakistan to go on and chase down the target that will be set the hosts.
