Finn Allen was the first to depart as Mahedi Hasan first struck when the Kiwis had just 1 run on board. Tim Seifert soon followed with Shoriful Islam bagging his wicket. Islam was at it yet again as he trapped Glenn Philips for an LBW. Mahedi Hasan delivered once again for the Tigers as he got rid of the dangerous Daryl Mitchell in the fourth over. New Zealand were reduced to 22/4 at the time of the publishing of this story.
