KL Rahul has been India’s best batter in the IND vs SA 1st Test. He became the only batter to reach an half century as Sunil Gavaskar heaped praises for the batter. While the Proteas roared to shatter India’s batting order, KL Rahul stood his ground to strike a classy fifty.

KL Rahul keep India awake in the Test match as he reached his fifty. Rahul slammed a brilliant six to reach his fifty from just 80 deliveries. He fired 7 fours and 2 sixes to help India pile up a decent total for the first Innings.

“This half century by KL Rahul is worth a century. On this pitch, under pressure, this innings is equal to a century,” said Sunil Gavaskar after KL Rahul’s impressive fifty.
