Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel have been approved as the greatest spin all-rounders to grace the game. Who gave then these honours, you ask? The World Test Champions did. While the AUS vs PAK 2nd Test was halted due to rain, the Australian cricket team decided to play a game.
They decided to name the ‘best spinning all-rounders in history’ during tea time at the MCG. The list featured 9 current and retired players and had a few worthy and some head-scratching picks.
Apart from the Indian spin trio, Australian coach Daniel Vettori, former great Richie Benaud, and teammate Travis Head. The list also featured Sir Garfield Sobers, Shakib al Hasan, and Samit Patel.
