The India Cricket Team are ready to face the Proteas in the upcoming IND vs SA 1st Test. But Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has given his overview about the pitch and the bowling conditions in South Africa. He pointed out how the pitches in the Rainbow Nation provides good assistance to the seamers.
Rohit Sharma claimed that it is difficult to bat throughout the 5 days of the Test match. Towards the end of the game, when the pitch cracks it provides assistance to the spinners, it again becomes a big issue for the batters.
“Bowlers dominate here a lot due to the bounce and the lateral movement that the pacers get. As game goes on, the game becomes little difficult with cracks opening up,“ said Rohit Sharma at the Pre Match Press Conference.
India is ready to break their 31 year old jinx and win a series in South Africa. With crucial World Test Championship points up for grabs, it is extremely crucial for Rohit Sharma and Co to get a positive result in the game.
