IND vs SA 1st Test: Ex-NZ star backs India to play two spinners

Simon Doull predicted his playing XI for team India in the opening Test against South Africa where he choose two spinners.

Former Kiwi cricketer Simon Doull has predicted India’s Playing XI for the opening Test against South Africa at the Centurion on Tuesday and according to him, Indian captain Rohit Sharma should go with two spinners.

Doull added Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja as two spinners in the side. His team has Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj as pace options.

Doull openers are Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal while Shubman Gill to come at third in batting line-up and then Virat Kohli. KL Rahul would have been his wicketkeeper.

India will play two Test matches against South Africa to defeat them in their home condition. India can choose Ashwin as a spin option but it is unlikely that they will go with two spinners in that track.

Simon Doull’s India XI vs South Africa: Rohit Sharma (c), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj.
