Proteas curators have prepared a green pitch to trouble India’s star-studded batting line-up.
Cricket journalist Vimal Kumar shared the first look of the Centurion pitch on Saturday.
The pictures show a green surface which will provide more pace and bounce to the fast bowlers.

However, it’s crucial to highlight that curators typically trim the grass the day before the game commences. So, the pitch’s appearance on the opening day of the Test might vary slightly.
Team India is likely to go with four pacers and one spinner in the first Test. Veteran Ravichandran Ashwin, who is nearing his 500-Test wickets milestone, is likely to sit out.
