When we think of Test cricket legacies three teams come to our mind; England, Australia, and West Indies as these three countries have played most number of Test matches. But India is ready to stand side by side with the Caribbean in this elite group after the opening match of the two-match Test series against South Africa. The series will start from December 26.
West Indies have played 573 Tests while India is just behind them with 572 Tests. India will level the record in their upcoming match against Proteas in Centurion.
India on January 3 will overtake West Indians as they will play their 574th Test.
