5 batters in demand at IPL 2024 Auction
- Rachin Ravindra – The talented New Zealand batter has impressed everyone around the world. In the World Cup tournament, he was one of the top run-scorer with 578 runs in 10 innings. The destructive batter and able bowler is yet to feature in any of the IPL seasons. It would be interesting to know from which team he would debut.
- Shahrukh Khan – After failing to live up to expectations in the IPL 2023, Shahrukh Khan was recently released by the Punjab Kings (PBKS) after being purchased for INR 9 crore in the IPL 2022 mega auction. He has participated in 33 IPL games and scored 426 runs at a strike rate of 134.81 and an average of 20.29.
- Travis Head – Travis Head has shown his all-round ability in the semi-final match of the ODI World Cup 2023 against South Africa. He scored fifty and picked up two wickets in the game. As he has decided to name himself in the upcoming IPL Auction, the team would want him into the side as an all-rounder.
- Daryl Mitchell – Daryl Mitchell is a sensational talent for Kiwis. He is amongst the top 5 run scorers in World Cup 2023. He also has the ability to take wickets in crucial moments for the team. Due to his all-round skills, Mitchell will be in huge demand. Notably, Mitchell participated in two IPL 2022 games for the Rajasthan Royals (RR).
- Manish Pandey – Manish Pandey was released by Delhi Capital ahead of the IPL 2024 Auction. He was the first Indian batter to score century in IPL. Manish had a disappointing tournament where he scored only 160 runs with an average 17.78.
