A lucky fan was invited on stage to pick a player from set 10 of the IPL 2024 auction for the next round of bidding. The fan, identified as Karan Bharat Tanna, was invited to pick the names of players from set number 10 up for bidding. Donning a black T-shirt and blue jeans, the lucky fan joined the auctioneer on stage with visible excitement.

IPL 2024 auction highlights

It was a field day for the Australia pacer duo of Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins after they shattered records at the IPL 2024 auction. While Starc was bagged by KKR for a whooping Rs 24.75 cr, Cummins was purchased by SRH for Rs 20.5 cr. New Zealand opener Rachin Ravindra was picked by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for Rs 1.8 crore.

Rovman Powell was bagged for 7.4 cr by the Rajasthan Royals. South Africa all-rounder Gerald Coetzee, who came into the limelight for his exceptional performance at the World Cup, was bagged by Mumbai Indians for INR 5 cr. Harshal Patel joins Punjab Kings for a price of 11.75 crore.
