Young sensation Sai Sudharshan continued his excellent run in the ongoing IND vs SA ODI series. The left-handed batter went on to smash his second fifty on the trot after making his debut. During his knock, Sudharshan joined Navjot Singh Sidhu to achieve the unique feat of scoring back-to-back fifties after debut. In his first game, Sudharshan scored 55 runs as India defeated South Africa in the first ODI.

Speaking about the IND vs SA 2nd ODI, South Africa won the toss and opted to have a bowl first. Ruturaj Gaikwad failed once again as he could only score four runs before being scalped by Burger. Tilak Verma also got out cheaply as he was also scalped by Burger.

Skipper KL Rahul and Sai Sudharshan then put on a decent partnership before the Southpaw was scalped by Lizaad Williams for 62 runs. During his knock, Sudharshan stroked seven fours and one maximum. However, the left-handed batter missed out on a good opportunity to score his maiden century in the international arena.
