No takers! Josh Haazlewood goes unsold in IPL 2024 Auction. With an impressive track record of 35 wickets in 27 IPL games, Josh Hazlewood will be in Australia during March and April for the birth of his child. He has confirmed that he will only be available in May, thereby fending off interests from all teams.
Hazlewood to miss first half of IPL 2024:
Despite his great performance in the ODI World Cup in India, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) decided to release Australia bowler Josh Hazlewood. Furthermore, during the course of two IPL seasons, the Australian bowler took 23 wickets at an average of 19.69. However, owing to an achilles heel injury, he was only able to play three matches in the IPL 2023.
However, Hazlewood and his wife are expecting a child in March 2024, making him unavailable for at least the first part of the season.
