ODI Debut for Rinku Singh?

The Indian cricket fans were left stunned when Rinku Singh was not selected in the India Playing XI for the 1st ODI. But now in the absence of Shreyas Iyer, a spot has opened up in the squad. Prior to the 1st match, current ODI skipper for the series KL Rahul too confirmed that Rinku Singh will be the designated finisher at Number 6 spot.

Shreyas Iyer’s absence in the line-up will force Tilak Varma to move up in the playing XI. As a result, Rinku will easily slot in at his preferred nunber 6 spot.

On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav vs Yuzvendra Chahal continues. While the former continues to be in red hot form, Chahal will also be eager to prove his worth with the T20 World Cup fast approaching.
