It’s been a few hours since Team Haryana won the final against Rajasthan to lift their maiden Vijay Hazare Trophy, but batsmen Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma won’t be very pleased with their performances, in the summit clash. While Yuvraj scored 1, Rohit fared slightly better and was out for 20 from 24 balls.
But before one begins to think that they are the Indian superstars featuring in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, that is not the case. It is just the namesakes of the legendary cricketers, who ply their trade from Haryana in the domestic circuit. Even IPL team Punjab Kings did not waste any time congratulating the two on the title win.
Vijay Hazare Trophy, As it Happened
