‘Leader of the pack’ Jasprit Bumrah leaves for IND vs SA Test series

Bumrah has taken 26 wickets in South Africa in just 6 matches.

Indian spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has left for South Africa ahead of the IND vs SA Test series starting on December 26. The pacer had been practicing for the India tour of South Africa 2023-24 with his teammate KL Rahul a few days ago and will now join Virat Kohli in South Africa.

To manage his workload and keep his body fresh, Bumrah had decided to skip the white-ball leg of the tour (ODIs and T20Is). However, with just 10 days left before the first Test begins in Centurion, Bumrah will look to amp it up.
