Google revealed that former Pakistan Cricket Team captain and star batsman Babar Azam did not feature in the top 10 searches for ‘people’ in Pakistan for the year 2023.
The top 10 most searched people in Pakistan in 2023 contains 4 cricketers from Pakistan, and one each from India and Australia although Babar Azam is not among them.

However, it is not the cricketers that grabs the top two spot in the most googled people in Pakistan. Famous vloggers Hareem Shah and Aliza Sehar make up the top two of the list. Bollywood star Tiger Shroff also finds a mention in the list.
On the other end of the spectrum, the 10th most searched queries on Google in Pakistan is Pakistan cricketer Haseeb Khan, who is one of the country’s rising stars. The 4th and 9th most searched queries were for young Pakistan cricketers Abdullah Shafique & Saud Shakeel.
Other notable names are Usman Khan of Pakistan (5th), who is well-known for his performances in the PSL, Australia’s Glenn Maxwell (7th), and India’s Shubman Gull (8th).
Pakistani Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar’s name held the 6th position on the list.
In addition, Pakistan vs. New Zealand, Pakistan vs Afghanistan, and Pakistan vs Australia are the top three cricket matches that are most searched for in Pakistan.
The other matches that were most searched were India vs New Zealand, Pakistan vs Netherlands, India vs Pakistan (ranked 6th), Australia vs England, India vs Australia, Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, and England vs Pakistan
