After repeated snubs in the India Cricket Team, Sanju Samson is back with the Men in Blue. The Rajasthan Royals skipper has got his chance in the India vs South Africa (IND vs SA) ODI series. The dependable keeper & finisher will get another chance to prove his worth and fix his place in the India Playing XI.
After the Asia Cup, ODI World Cup, and the IND vs AUS T20I series snub, Sanju Samson has been called by the BCCI Selection Committee. The seasoned batter last played an ODI match back in August against West Indies where he slammed a fifty (51 from 41). Being set as a traveling reserve in the Asia Cup, Samson was snubbed for the World Cup squad.
Following the ODI World Cup, he was yet again snubbed for the India vs Australia T20I series. With quite a few seniors being rested for the 3-match ODI series and youngsters keen to prove their mark, this is now a do-or-die chance for Samson to put in some good performances and finalise his spot in the team once in for all.
