Shreyas Iyer’s tenacious performance guided India reach a solid 160/8 in the fifth and final T20I against Australia in Bengaluru. Jitesh Sharma and Axar Patel provided help in the middle overs as Iyer hammered 53 off 37 balls. Jitesh contributed 24 on 16 balls, while Axar got 31 runs on 21 deliveries.
As Australia lost both openers Travis Head and Josh Phillipe in the powerplay overs, Mukesh Kumar and Ravi Bishnoi came in early. Mukesh took Phillipe out for a run-a-ball four, and Bishnoi cleaned up Head. In his following over, Bishnoi struck out Aaron Hardie.
