After confirming his participation in one more Indian Premier League (IPL) season, MS Dhoni visited Maa Ambe temple to seek blessing for himself and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The former India captain is very religious, but that side of his does not come to the fore that much, as Dhoni likes to be away from limelight. However, it is every year ritual for the CSK captain to seek blessings from Maa Ambe Temple in Ranchi.
Dhoni’s superfan shared a viral photo of him visiting the temple ahead of the IPL 2024 season.
Currently, the CSK captain is rehabilitating from the knee surgery he underwent in June. It is still not clear whether Dhoni will play a full season of IPL. But the wicketkeeper batter stated after CSK’s fifth win that he wants to play one more IPL season as a gift to his loyal fans, who have shown unconditional love and support to him.

After the temple visit, the wicketkeeper batter will begin preparation for the IPL 2024 season. Like last year, Dhoni will be training at Jharkhand Cricket Association Academy. Already, the CSK superstar has started to bat and is looking as fit as ever.
