‘I am ready’ Veteran Ajay Jadeja on coaching Pakistan Cricket team

After a successful run with Afghanistan, Ajay Jadeja is available to coach the Pakistan Cricket team if asked.

Former Indian all-rounder and expert Ajay Jadeja is ready to coach the Pakistan Cricket team if asked. Ajay Jadeja has become a hot commodity after Afghanistan’s surprising success in the ICC World Cup 2023. To note, Jadeja was mentoring the Afghani side in the marquee tournament.

As the mentor of Afghanistan Cricket tam, Ajay Jadeja helped the Asian side topple giants like England, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands. Their near-triumph against Australia, only ruined by Glenn Maxwell’s mammoth double-hundred, further cemented their fighting spirit.

In a recent interview with Sports Tak, Jadeja addressed the growing interest from Pakistan. “I am ready,” he declared, leaving no room for ambiguity. He elaborated, “I poured my heart and experience into the Afghan team. I believe Pakistan once had a similar environment, where unfiltered words flew between teammates.”

It must be noted that Pakistan’s World Cup campaign, marred by five losses and a fifth-place finish, led to Babar Azam’s resignation as captain. Whispers of discontent turned into a roar, and now, Jadeja’s bold statement has ignited a spark.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket team are gearing up for an exciting three-match Test Series against Australia. The first Test match is scheduled to take place in Perth from December 14. Team Pakistan led by their newly appointed captain, Shan Masood, are poised for a challenging yet promising contest. Masood’s leadership brings a fresh perspective, and the Asian side is eager to showcase their skills and resilience on the field.
