The stage is set for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup. A total of 8 teams will lock horns with each other as the young guns from their respective nations will be keen to prove their mark in the 50-over game. Following the conclusion of the Men’s Asia Cup, it is now time for the youngster to shine. The tournament will take place in Dubai and is set to commence on 8th December. The Final will be held on 17th December at the Dubai International Stadium.
India and Pakistan kick start the tournament as they face Afghanistan and Nepal respectively on Day 1. The highly anticipated India vs Pakistan clash will take place on 10th December.
The 8 teams have been divided into 2 groups. Afghanistan, India, Nepal, and Pakistan feature in Pool A while Bangladesh, Japan, Sri Lanka, and hosts UAE are placed in Pool B.
All the group stage games till the semi-finals will be played at ICC Academy Oval 1 & 2. Only the finals of the tournament will be held at the Dubai International Stadium.
How the Tournaments Progress? The top 2 teams from each group make it to the semi-finals. Both the semi-finals will be held on 15th December and the top 2 teams will then lock horns on 17th December for the coveted finals.
All tournament matches will be live-streamed on the Asian Cricket Council’s YouTube channel.
