Just a day before the start of the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup, the captains of the 8 teams posed together with the glittering Asia Cup trophy. India will kick start the tournament as they face Afghanistan in their opening match. On the other hand, Pakistan will lock horns with Nepal in the U19 Asia Cup. With all to play for the silverware, the top two teams will face each other in a mouthwatering clash on 17th December for the Finals.
The India Cricket Team will be headed by skipper Uday Saharan. Saumy Kumar Pandey will serve as the deputy for Saharan.
The 8 teams have been divided into 2 groups. Afghanistan, India, Nepal, and Pakistan feature in Pool A while Bangladesh, Japan, Sri Lanka, and hosts UAE are placed in Pool B.
How the Tournaments Progress? The top 2 teams from each group make it to the semi-finals. Both the semi-finals will be held on 15th December and the top 2 teams will then lock horns on 17th December for the coveted finals.
