Watch: Indian Cricket Team gets a thundering welcome in Durban

India will start the tour with a 3-match T20I series after a successful 4-1 series win against Australia under Suryakumar Yadav’s leadership.

The India Cricket Team departed for South Africa on December 6 for the IND vs SA T20I series starting December 10. Now, after India has reached Durban, the BCCI has released footage of the warm welcome the team received when they arrived in South Africa.

The young team, led by skipper Suryakumar Yadav and coach Rahul Dravid, was welcomed with thundering applause at their team hotel. The short video ended with skipper Surya looking at the camera and addressing the fans by saying, “Hi guys, welcome to South Africa.”.

The month-long tour to South Africa will see us face the T20I challenge first, then move to ODIs, and finally end the tour in Capetown.
