Top 5 unsold players in the WPL 2024 Auction
Chamari Athapaththu
After going unsold in the WPL 2023 auction and lighting the world on fire in the WBBL 2023 season, the Sri Lankan skipper remains unlucky in the biggest cricket in the world. With 122 T20I under her belt, the southpaw found herself unsold despite putting her base price at just 30 lakh.
Nadine de Klerk
The 23-year-old South African all-rounder will find herself unlucky to get picked despite having a solid record. Having played 45 matches, the right-hander has 34 wickets and over 400 runs. Her base price of 30 lakh proved to be a little too high for the five franchises.
Deandra Dottin
The West Indies legend Deandra Dottin set her base price at 50 lakh rupees, but to everyone’s shock, she had found herself without suitors. One would assume that the all-rounder is deemed difficult to deal with due to her fitness certificate controversy last season.

Devika Vaidya
One of the very few recognised Indian all-rounders on the auction list, Devika Vaidya, may feel unlucky to not get picked. Despite playing international cricket for 9 years, the leg spinner has played just 17 matches for India. Her poor track record and abundance of good domestic spinners have seen her go unsold.
Amy Jones
The experienced wicketkeeper batter failed to get a bid after putting her base price at just 40 lakh. Amy Jones has a decade-long international career and is exceptional with the gloves. Despite all this and a good strike rate, Amy missed out on the WPL 2024 auction.
