Delhi Capitals Women full squad for Women’s Premier League after WPL 2024 Auction

Check out the complete Delhi Capitals Women roster for the Women’s Premier League.

Delhi Capitals Women have assembled their 18-member squad for the 2024 edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL). The DC franchise broke bank for Australian all-rounder Annabel Sutherland and picked the star player for INR 2 crore. Delhi Capitals engaged in a intense bidding war with Mumbai Indians (MI) but managed to get the player after MI withdrew from the contest.

With only 25 lakhs left in the purse, the franchise then went for two uncapped players – Aparna Mondal (10 Lakh), Ashwani Kumari (10 Lakh) – to complete their squad.

Notably, Aparna Mondal was part of Delhi Capitals in WPL 2023 but was released ahead of the auction.

Ahead of the WPL auction 2024, Delhi Capitals had retained 15 players, aiming to maintain the integrity of their core team. Noteworthy among the retained players were the stars such as Shafali Varma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Marizanne Kapp, and the team captain, Meg Lanning.
