India Cricket Team continues their preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup. With the IND vs SA 1st T20I washed away, it means a big opportunity lost for the Men in Blue to try and test team combinations. Rain in Durban played spoilsport as just 5 T20I matches remain for India ahead of the big tournament.

It is safe to say that Team India’s priority is set on the shortest format of the game. After narrowly missing out on the ODI World Cup, the Men in Blue are desperate to bag an ICC Trophy.

The Dynamics for the IND vs SA 2nd T20 remain the same. The clash is set to be exciting and crucial for several factors. Both teams get to try out their permutations and combinations in Team Selection.

IND vs SA 2nd T20I – What lies in store

First things first, both teams will be excited to hit the ground. After remaining in the dressing room for the entire duration of the first game, both the teams will be raring to take the field. India will be keen to try out their various team combinations.

Shubman Gill returns to the team along with the other senior usual suspects. Gill is expected to open the innings with Yashasvi. Shreyas Iyer and SKY retain their preferred spots. Rinku Singh gets his chance riding high on the back of some solid performances. Jitesh Sharma is competing with Ishan Kishan for the keeper role.

Ravi Bishnoi vs Kuldeep Yadav is also a selection headache for Rahul Dravid. Down the order, Mohammed Siraj leads the pace attack with Arshdeep Singh and Mukesh Sharma.

The Proteas have several absentees with the likes of Quinton de Kock, Temba Bavuma, Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada, and Marco Jansen. However, the deadly Proteas will heavily bank on Aiden Markram, David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, Tristan Stubbs, Keshav Maharaj and Co to give a good fight to Team India.
