Krafton, the developer of the popular battle royale game BGMI, dropped the podcast for the highly anticipated BGMI 2.9 Update. The podcast features popular BGMI creators, sharing some details of the upcoming features, events, modes, and more.
BGMI 2.9 Update
The podcast featured popular personalities in the BGMI community: Joker Ki Haweli, Payal Gaming, Snax Gaming, and Kaash Plays. The podcast revealed some exciting features, including Ice and Snow theme mode, royale pass, X-Suit carnival, Ranveer Singh Discovery Event, and play and win events. Check out the full details below:
Ice and Snow Theme Mode – The snow town will be available on the Erangel, Vikendi, and Livik maps players will get to see Snowy Village, characterized by unique architectural designs, beautiful landscapes, and hidden treasures. The new mode replaces the bombing zones with ice and snow bombing zones. If ice and snow bombs hit players, they will transform into snowmen.

Snowblaster Gun – A new weapon, the Snowblaster Gun, will be available in the update, which is going to be one of the most interesting features in the game. If you get hitted by the gun you’ll transform into a snowman for 30 seconds. The gun fires the snow, which players can use to block windows and doors. By blocking the windows and doors, players can easily push the enemy squad without getting any damage from the windows.
Players can also use the Snowblaster gun in water to make a bridge to cross the river. This is very useful in situations involving bridge camps. Players can easily cross one island to another by making a bridge with Snowblaster.
X-Suit Carnival – In the podcast Snax revealed that the carnival of X-suits is coming in which players get to see 4 X-Suits. Players who missed getting an X-Suit can now have a chance to get one including Poseidon X-Suit, Fiore X-Suit, and Silvanus X-Suit.
Ranveer Singh Discovery Event – Players have to compete in the matches in classic mode which rerads them with points. Using that points players can claim rewards
