Indian opener Ruturaj Gaikwad continued his excellent run in the ongoing IND vs AUS T20I series. Ruturaj Gaikwad weathered the storm in the early overs during the IND vs AUS third T20 as he took toll on the Australian bowlers later on. To note, the talented batter from Maharashtra scored 102 runs in his last 36 balls. It must be mentioned that Gaikwad backed up with a century after he smashed a fifty in his previous innings.
Gaikwad finished with 123 runs off just 57 deliveries which included 13 fours and seven maximums. The right-handed batter played with an astonishing strike rate of 215.8 as the Men in Blue posted 222 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
Speaking about IND vs AUS 3rd T20, Australia won the toss and opted to bowl first. Kane Richardson was wayward in his first spell but got rid of Ishan Kishan for a five-ball duck to reduce India to 24/2 in 2.3 overs. Before that, Jason Behrendorff bowled a terrific wicket-maiden and got the better of the swashbuckling Yashasvi Jaiswal in the 2nd over.

As mentioned above, Gaikwad hammered 123 runs off 57 balls, hitting 13 fours and 7 sixes and remained unbeaten taking the Australian bowlers to the cleaners. Tilak Varma also remained not out at the other end, but his innings off 31 from 24 balls just looked like a small glass of water in the big ocean. The two youngsters were involved in a massive partnership of 141* for the fourth wicket as India posted 222/3 in 20 overs.
