Dricus Du Plessis Draws Inspiration from Dana White Despite Ongoing Friction

It appears that Dana White and his participation on the podcast “This Past Weekend” served as inspiration for Dricus Du Plessis. It appears that Dana White and his participation on the podcast “This Past Weekend” served as inspiration for Dricus Du Plessis. The conflict between Du Plessis and White started after Du Plessis turned down the opportunity to compete against Israel Adesanya, the champion at the time, at UFC 293. Rather, Sean Strickland took the fight to Adesanya, and he unexpectedly prevailed, changing the middleweight division forever!

It appeared as though White had marginalized Dricus Du Plessis. However, it was then revealed that Khamzat Chimaev had suffered a hand injury in the UFC 294 battle. As a result, “Stillknocks” was granted the opportunity to challenge Strickland for the middleweight championship the following year. Du Plessis recently posted a video on social media that shows that, despite his issues with the UFC, he still finds inspiration in unexpected places!

Dana White Speaks About Having Confidence In Oneself: Dricus Du Plessis Intakes His Words

With the prospect of a championship opportunity for the victor, UFC CEO Dana White had convinced Khamzat Chimaev and Kamaru Usman to sign up for the UFC 294 pay-per-view co-main event. On “The Pat McAfee Show,” White confirmed this and emphasized that barring unanticipated events, the winner will have the chance to defend their championship. As a result, Dricus Du Plessis began to doubt the UFC’s handling of him since he thought his previous accomplishments had guaranteed him a shot at the championship.

Du Plessis just posted a video of comedian Dana White about the importance of having confidence in oneself and being courageous on her show, Theo Von’s program.

White stated, “You have to have no fear, you have to believe in who you are, and what you do, and just go f*king get it. The thing with me is, I don’t give a f*ck. I don’t give a f*ck. Yeah, I don’t give a sh*t what anybody says, or what anybody thinks.”

He made it clear that he didn’t care what other people thought, proclaimed his strong sense of self, and surrounded himself with people who were encouraging. For White, anybody who doesn’t like it or doesn’t want it, too f*king bad.”

White makes a compelling case for the value of fearlessness and unshakeable self-assurance.
