Snubbed from the India Cricket Team yet again, Yuzvendra Chahal showcased his worth in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. He claimed a six-fer against Uttarakhand and then went on to post a cryptic message on social media. The ace spinner went on to claim that a warrior’s strength is defined when others don’t think that he can succeed.

Chahal’s last involvement with the Men in Blue was in the series against West Indies. Following this, he was not in the ranks to be selected for either the Asia Cup, the Australia ODI series, the World Cup, or the Australia T20I series.

So what did Chahal do? He went back to his basics. The 33-year-old is now concentrating on his first-class stint. Earlier, after the India snub he went on to make his county cricket debut for Kent. Chahal who is now playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for his home state Haryana scalped a six-fer as Haryana routed Uttarakhand.

Now after his stunning spell, Chahal has taken to social to post a cryptic post. He posted a picture with the text, “To hold it together when everyone else thinks otherwise, that’s the true strength of a warrior.”

It is quite unclear as to what the veteran spinner wants to say but it can deemed as a reply to the selectors. A player who has been snubbed from the India Cricket Team and is performing well in the domestic circuit should warrant a comeback to the big stage.

It is wise to think that Chahal’s stint with the Men in Blue is over. Good performances in first-class cricket and a good IPL 2024 stint can help him make a comeback to the Indian team. Chahal who made IPL his own by shattering records is likely to perform well on his proven ground.
