Fans are not happy with Mitchell Marsh. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against Australian batter Mitchell Marsh after a photo of him resting his feet on the World Cup trophy went viral on the social media platforms. To note, Mitchell Marsh also received a lot of flak from the Indian fans after the pic of him resting his feet on the World Cup got viral on the social media platforms.

Complainant wants lifetime ban on Marsh

Pandit Keshav, an RTI activist from Aligarh, submitted a written complaint against Mitchell Marsh at the Delhi Gate police station, claiming that the cricketer had offended Indian emotions with the viral photo. Keshav also claimed that this is an insult to the coveted trophy but also to the dignity of 140 crore Indians.

To note, the complainant has also sent the copy of his report to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur office demanding a lifetime ban on Mitchell Marsh to play in India and against India elsewhere. As mentioned above, Marsh also received a lot of flak from the Indian fans due to his pic. In the photo, Mitchell Marsh can be seen resting his feet on the World Cup.

Mitchell Marsh not part of IND vs AUS T20s

After a decent outing in World Cup, Marsh has flown back to Australia. To note, Marsh is not part of the Australian squad participating in the five-match T20I series. The first match of the T20 series is being played on November 23 (Thursday) in Visakhapatnam.

Meanwhile, Australia batter Josh Inglis completed an excellent century in the first T20I encounter. Thanks to his efforts with the bat, the Men in Yellow have posted a total of 208 runs in 20 overs.
