Real Madrid have allegedly approached Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi about succeeding Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager. Ancelotti has been widely connected with the job of managing the Brazilian national team. The Italian has yet to speak about his plans, but Real Madrid is apparently seeking replacements.

Initial negotiations between the club and the Brighton manager have reportedly taken place. Madrid believes De Zerbi is ready to advance in his career. The manager’s remarkable track record of developing and mentoring new players fuels their interest.

Los Blancos see De Zerbi as the most suitable replacement to Ancelotti, according to Sport. De Zerbi’s transformational work in Brighton has gotten a lot of attention. He has done an amazing job of transforming them into a top side in the Premier League.

Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouaméni, Jude Bellingham, and Arda Guler are among the world’s best young players. The Bernabeu administration believes in De Zerbi’s ability to bring out the best in those prospective superstars.

De Zerbi has had an immediate effect at Brighton after taking over for Graham Potter in September 2022. Under De Zerbi, a number of young players, notably Evan Ferguson, Julio Enciso, and Moises Caicedo, have shone.

After finishing sixth in the Premier League last season, he led them to Europe for the first time in the club’s history. They are now ninth in the rankings this season, after failing to win any of their past six league games.

Several names have recently been associated with Real Madrid. Former Real Madrid player Xabi Alonso, the manager of Bayer Leverkusen, is also a possible replacement for Ancelotti.

According to sources, the Spanish club may grant Ancelotti a contract extension. In the immediate term, Roberto De Zerbi will remain focused on Brighton, as the Sea Gulls return to play on Saturday against Nottingham Forest.
