Stay classy, wrote Glenn Maxwell’s wife
Glenn Maxwell’s wife Vini Raman posted a series of pictures on Instagram after the conclusion of the Worl Cup and also took time to call out trolls for hateful DMs post Australia’s win.
“…aaaaand cue all the hateful vile DMs. Stay classy. Can’t believe this needs to be said BUT you can be Indian and also support the country of your birth where you have been raised and more importantly the team your husband plus father of your child plays in #nobrainer. Take a chill pill and direct that outrage towards more important world issues,” Vini Raman wrote in an Instagram post.
The World Cup win was Australia’s sixth in ODI cricket after 1987, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015. They also broke trend of home teams lifting the cup after winning the title in India. On the other hand, it was Team India’s second defeat against Australia in the World Cup final. They previously lost to the Men in Yellow in 2003 WC final.
