After the World Cup disappointment, team India star batter Virat Kohli is likely to start his own company. As per a report from CricketNext, Virat Kohli has parted ways with Cornerstone firm after a span of over ten years. Cornerstone, a firm owned by Bunty Sajdeh, was overseeing Kohli’s his commercial interests and brand presence outside the cricket field. Both Kohli and Sajdeh were also very good friends as the latter frequently accompanied him to major cricket events.
“Yes, Kohli and Bunty have parted ways after a very long and successful partnership. Over the years, there are a lot of other cricketers who’ve parted ways with Cornerstone. Rohit, KL Rahul, Ajinkya, Shubman and others. But Virat and Cornerstone were inseparable. Now, that relationship is over too,” an industry source told CricketNext.
Kohli plans to register his company soon
The real reason for Kohli ending the deal with Cornerstone remains unknown. However, the report has claimed that the Indian batter is expected to register his new company soon. It must be mentioned that the partnership between Kohli and Bunty had several successful deals with leading companies, including the notable INR 100-crore partnership with the prominent sports brand Puma.
