- The first player to hit 500+ runs in consecutive World Cups: The right-hander has ended the campaign as the first-ever batter in the 48-year-old tournament to score 500 or more runs in two consecutive editions (2019 and 2023).
- Most sixes in ODI World Cup history: Having hit 31 sixes in the tournament, Rohit Sharma broke Chris Gayle’s record for most sixes in the World Cup. Rohit now stands at 54 maximums, five more than Gayle.
- Most sixes in international cricket: in the first half of the tournament, the Mumbai cricketer broke another record of Chris Gayle. His 131 against Afghanistan took him past Gayle’s record of 553 sixes. The batter currently has 579 maximums.
