On his second over, it was Rohit Sharma’s show. A dot ball on the first ball and then Rohit took on Maxwell. He went on to slam a sixer and then repeated it in the next shot with a glorious cover drive. Seeing the momentum on his behalf, Rohit yet again went for the maximum.
A flighted delivery and Rohit dances down the track to dispatch it into the stands. But the ball mistimes with the bat and takes a high aerial route. All in all, it was magnificent innings from Rohit. The Indian skipper batted with a strike rate of 151, scoring 47 runs from 31 balls. His blasting innings consisted of 4 fours and 3 sixes.
