Just ahead of the India vs Australia World Cup Finals, Sachin Tendulkar presented his jersey to Virat Kohli. In what appears to be a heartwarming gesture, the master blaster has sent his best wishes to Kohli. Prior to the start of the game, Kohli was in for a big surprise. Sachin Tendulkar paid a visit to Kohli and gave him a gift.
Moreover, it is also an auspicious occasion for Kohli. He is now the only batter in the World with 50 ODI tons. In the previous game, i.e the semi-finals against New Zealand, Virat Kohli slammed his 50th ODI ton to create a World Record and go past Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI tons.
It has been a terrific tournament for Virat Kohli. The ace Indian batter has been hammering the opposition throughout the competition. Kohli first went on to match Sachin’s record of 49 ODI tons and then with an exceptional knock against the Kiwis, he created the World Record.
Virat Kohli has already amassed 3 centuries and 5 fifties and will look to put up a good show in the finals. As for the gift that he received, Sachin Tendulkar gifted Virat his jersey with a personalised message and then signed the jersey.
