With the Cricket World Cup Final on November 19, the preparations for the closing ceremony for the tournament are in full flow. The cricket festival is finally coming to a close, and the BCCI is planning to finish things off with a bang at the biggest cricket stadium in the world, Narendra Modi Stadium.

With just a day left before the blockbuster clash between India and Australia, the final tweaks are being made for the closing ceremony. The rehearsals for the mid-inning break show were in the limelight on the day before the final. 

As per their routine, as many as 500 dancers were preparing for the big day when they constructed different formations while the crowd was being serenaded by a group of musicians led by the famous Indian musician Pritam.

When and where will the World Cup closing ceremony take place?

The closing ceremony for the World Cup Final will take place on Sunday, November 19, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

The closing ceremony of the World Cup will be live-streamed on Disney+Hotstar for free, and the live telecast will be available on the Star Sports Network.

What will be the top performances at the WC closing ceremony?

The Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team will perform a 10-minute air show before the match. Several prominent singers, including Pritam, Jonita Gandhi, Amit Mishra, and Nakash Aziz, among others, will be in action. Apart from that, a parade of former World Cup-winning captains, a laser show, a drone show, and fireworks will mesmerise the crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Aditya Gadhvi, the ‘Gotilo’ singer who became a hit thanks to his performance on Coke Studio, will sing during the first innings drinks break. Following that, great vocalists like Jonita Gandhi, Nakash Aziz, Amit Mishra, Akasa Singh, Tushar Joshi, and many more will deliver their popular musical numbers.
