Pandya who is missing from the team after picking up an ankle injury has claimed that he is extremely proud of the team. With just a day to go, the entire World awaits as India looks ready to take on Australia in the Finals of the Cricket World Cup 2023.
Hardik Pandya has been a vital cog in the Indian Cricket Team for the past years. But the T20 skipper picked up an ankle ligament injury during the India vs Bangladesh clash and has been ruled out of the World Cup. Furthermore, as he continues his recovery, Pandya is also set to miss the upcoming India vs Australia T20I series.
“Boys, I could not be more proud of this team. Everything we have done so far, how far we have come, has been credited to years of hard work behind us. We are now 1 step away from glory, from doing something special which we have dreamt of since we were children,” said Hardik Pandya in a short and sweet video message on social media.
