Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles are set to attend the high-stakes clash scheduled for Sunday at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera.

In preparation for this historic event, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel chaired a high-level meeting in Gandhinagar on Friday to ensure everything is in place, particularly focusing on security arrangements for the match.

The sheer magnitude of the occasion is evident as two prominent leaders, PM Modi and Deputy PM Marles, plan to witness the epic battle between cricketing giants. The presence of such dignitaries underscores the global significance of the World Cup final, turning it into a diplomatic and cultural event beyond the realm of sports.

To guarantee the safety and smooth conduct of the match, the meeting revealed extensive security measures. A substantial deployment of 4,500 personnel will be on duty to secure the stadium, teams, VIPs, and manage traffic flow. The focus is not only on the grandeur of the event but also on ensuring the comfort and convenience of the spectators.

Chief Minister Patel emphasized that the common people should not face disruptions due to VIP movement. He instructed officials to provide advance information about closed roads and diversions, ensuring that the local population is well-informed and can plan their routes accordingly.

Recognizing the influx of fans from different parts of the country and abroad, the Chief Minister directed officials to increase the frequency of metro trains heading towards Motera station, making transportation more accessible for spectators.

Air Force aerobatics team

Adding to the spectacle, the Indian Air Force’s renowned Surya Kiran aerobatics team is scheduled to perform an air show ahead of the much-anticipated final on Sunday. This additional element promises to turn the event into a celebration of sportsmanship and aviation prowess.
