The BCCI officials will felicitate the past winning captains with special blazers representing the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. It is not officially confirmed whether MS Dhoni will be present but it is highly likely that he will be present to witness India facing Australia in the highly anticipated World Cup 2023 Final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19th November.

Among the past winners, Pakistan’s former skipper and ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan is highly unlikely to be present. Imran Khan is currently in prison with his court case ongoing in Pakistan.

The BCCI has planned a glamorous Closing ceremony for the World Cup. Be it air shows by fighter jets, Bollywood stars in attendance, Top musicians and singers performing to unique laser and lighting shows, a festive mood is set to be in store for the fans.

The Indian Cricket Team is currently in red hot. They are on a 10-match unbeaten streak and will face the mighty Aussies in the Finals. India has a golden chance to avenge their 2003 finals defeat this time. Furthermore, since India last won the World Cup back in 2011, 12 years have passed and in the 2 World Cups in between, India has failed to make it to either one final after being ousted in the semis on both occasions.
