The Pro Kabaddi Season 10 is all set to start on December 2, and the excitement is growing manyfold with each passing day. It looks like, that PKL fever has gripped even the New Zealand cricket team. In a video released by Star Sports, the Kiwi players Mitchell Santner, Trent Boult, and Tom Latham can be seen watching clips of Pro Kabaddi action, which leaves them bamboozled.

Santner started off by saying, “It’s intense. I’ve probably got the squirminess, but not the strength.” Boult was up next and gave a fair assessment of what he made of the indigenous sport. He said, “I’ve seen it a couple of times. You need strong legs for kabaddi.”

Latham went a step further and drew out similarities between kabaddi and rugby. “I’m not sure about the rules but it looks like a physical sport. Looks similar to rugby, with guys teaming up against one guy, to stop him go over the line.”

While answering their picks for a Kiwi player to play kabaddi, all three had interesting answers. Santner picked on Boult and said, that the latter would get smashed. “Lockie Ferguson has got a strong core and legs, so him. And, me.” Latham, on the other hand, picked Glenn Phillps. “I would nominate Glenn Phillips, who is a little powerful pocket rocket.”

Lastly, Boult picked Daryll Mitchell and Tim Southee.
