Paul Pogba has been under the scanner for all the wrong reasons recently. The former Manchester United midfielder is currently suspended after failing a drugs test. However, the World Cup winner is already planning his comeback when the suspension ends and is working hard towards that goal, the Frenchman’s agent revealed.
Pogba first tested positive for testosterone after a match against Udinese in the Serie A on August 20. His B sample also came back positive for DHEA, a hormone that increases testosterone levels. The Italian National Anti-Doping Tribunal handed Pogba a lengthy ban. Pogba’s current club Juventus also extended his ban after the B samples tested positive. The club is also reportedly mulling terminating Pogba’s contract if he is found guilty of doping offenses at a sporting trial.
However, Pogba’s agent Rafaela Pimenta has recently revealed in an interview with Relevo that Pogba is keeping himself in shape in the absence of professional football. Rafaela, who worked with super agent Mino Raiola previously, also said Pogba’s focus is on making a comeback on the football pitch.
Paul Pogba an honest person: Agent
On being asked about Paul Pogba’s status, she said, “We see the future one day after the other. We are doing everything we must to try to explain what is happening with Paul. But this explanation has to happen in front of a judge. I think that to enable a judge to have independence and to reach his conclusions as he has to reach, we cannot influence him with public comments.

“We are doing everything we have to do. Those who know Paul know what has happened. They know that Paul is an honest, correct person and that he always does things with integrity. He is living it with confidence and professionalism. He trains all the time and only thinks about getting through these difficult moments to come back.
She was also asked if Pogba could resume his career after the hearing takes place. She said, “We are working for this. I have confidence in the system, the tendency to trust until proven otherwise. I only have signs that it is a system that works. Hope you can understand our position.”
