What is noteworthy is that this was Virat Kohli’s third century in the World Cup 2023, with the other two coming against Bangladesh and South Africa. Not just that Kohli also continued his spree in the IND vs NZ contest, as the highest run-scorer in this World Cup with 711 runs. If that was not enough, he also became the highest overall run-scorer in a single edition of the World Cup.
