Beckham, Rajnikanth, Salman & other celebs to attend IND vs NZ WC semis in Mumbai

A star-studded affair at the heartland of Bollywood

It will be a star-studded affair during the first semi-final of the ICC World Cup between India vs New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Some of the elite celebrities like Sachin Tendulkar, Rajnikanth, Nita Ambani, Aamir Khan, David Beckham, Hardik Pandya, Ranbir Kapoor and Nita Ambani are the likely stars to grace the IND vs NZ semi-final match. Rajnikanth’s presence is almost confirmed for the epic clash.

According to ANI, & Jagran News, the Kollywood Actor has already left for Mumbai from Chennai today to cheer for Rohit Sharma & Co. Rajnikanth is a huge cricket buff, and never misses any opportunity to watch the Men in Blue in action in their crucial matches.

Meanwhile, David Beckham’s likely attending the IND vs NZ match at Wankhede Stadium has garnered a lot of eyeballs. The legendary footballer has often vouched in several of his interviews about his love for India and cricket.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Nita Ambani are set to watch the match in the iconic Wankhede Stadium. Aamir also graced the IND vs SL final in the 2011 World Cup along with Nita Ambani. Meanwhile, this will be Salman’s first semi-final match at the stadium. The Bollywood Superstar is also set to promote his latest film Tiger 3.

Apart from these stars, Ranbir Kapoor is also set to watch the match. The 41-year-old is also a huge cricket fan and has watched plenty of matches from the stadium. The Bollywood star is also likely to feature in Stars Sports pre-show to promote his latest film Animal, which is set to release on December 1.

India has so far put on a dominating performance in the nine matches in the group stage of the WC. They are the only unbeaten team in WC so far, winning nine games. They will hope to continue the same form against New Zealand and try to reach the third final of the WC.
